Iron Lotus Meditation and Buddhist Study Group

This group generally follows the Vipassana, or Insight, tradition of Buddhism. The intention is to look deeply, and see clearly, the conditions that arise in us which lead us to suffering. Through meditation practice one can learn to become aware and more mindful.

Iron Lotus Sangha meets every Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the Social Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Duluth’s building , 835 College St. Duluth, MN. Silent meditation from 7:00 to 7:30 is followed by fifty-five minutes of discussion of a chapter from a book that is currently being studied. The discussion concludes with a five minute silent meditation period at 8:25.

Visitors, or anyone interested in joining, are welcome. Just enter the building at its front door and go up the ramp. The Social Hall is a large, open area on the left. Come in and sit with us.
